Hey, this is Caleb from Pin Toolbox. Today, I'm going to show you some of the most surprising hacks I didn't even know you could use Pinterest for. If you're a creative professional or Pinterest power user, I think you'll find these very useful for your workflow.
1: Visual Search on Pinterest
The first hack for you is visual search on the Pinterest app. Here’s how to use it:
- Open the Pinterest App: Tap on the search bar.
- Use Visual Search: Click on the camera icon next to the search bar.
- Search with an Image: Take a picture or use an existing photo, such as a chair. Crop the image around the item you’re interested in.
- Find Similar Items: Pinterest will identify the image and show you similar items or places to buy them.
2: Shuffles App by Pinterest
The next hack is actually an app created by Pinterest. It's called Shuffles. This app allows you to create some really cool collages. It's kind of like an intuitive mobile photoshop. It's really worth checking out.
- Download Shuffles: Install the Shuffles app from your app store.
- Create a New Shuffle: Click the plus button to start a new project.
- Add Images: Select images from your Pinterest boards or search for new ones within the app.
- Customize Your Collage: Arrange and edit the images as you like.
- Share Your Creation: Click the share arrow icon to make your Shuffle public or private, then share the link or image.
3: Tuning Your Home Feed
If you have too many irrelevant pins in your home feed, you can tune it:
- Go to Your Profile: Click the drop-down arrow next to your profile picture.
- Tune Your Feed: Select "Tune your home feed" from the options.
- Remove Unwanted Pins: Uncheck items you’re not interested in to prevent Pinterest from recommending similar content.
4: Downloading Boards with Pin Toolbox
Downloading all images from a Pinterest board is easy with Pin Toolbox:
